I have the Damon 3276 and dollar for dollar you can't beat it. I bought the unit new and have had it one year. I have only had a couple of minor problems and the dealer quickly took care of them. I chose the Damon over the challenger because both units are basically the same with only a few upgrades on the challenger. If you like large tv's and plan on spending alot of time then the challenger would be the one.

We just bought a Challenger instead of a Daybreak after lots of debating back and forth. There were a few reasons we went with the larger vehicle, but one key factor was that the Challenger has a second entry door to the bathroom that doesn't go by the bunk beds, therefore we could close off the bunk bed area and not have to tiptoe past any sleeping children in order to get to the bathroom from the living area. Wife also liked that the Challenger we saw had more vinyl flooring in the living area where the Daybreak had a little more carpet. She felt like that the vinyl would be easier to maintain. Both were nice for the money.

Silly question but do these bunks come with a ladder / security gate? We're thinking of getting a Damon 3276 none of the pics I see show either (no local dealer so we'll have to travel to buy but I'd like to know before hand ...)

The 2008 Georgetown SE 350DS does not came with ladder or security gate. I was talking to the service person at the dealer when I did my walk throw for pick up of my MH and he said the 2009 will have a ladder. I have seen a Newmar Bay-star with ladder / security gate. My five years old likes sleeping on the top bunk and I am afraid he is going to fall. I am building a ladder with guard rails for the bunk before our next trip. Gook luck on search.

$87,400 For a 2008. Pretty well loaded... Five nights camping so far, and still love it. Heading to Alaska in 16 days, but who's counting.

We've had our Itasca 35J for 6 months and love it! We've camped 79 days and have driven nearly 6,000 miles without any issues at all.
