I know many on the forum don't like the snow, but you've gotta love the way the mountains look in the winter.

That is a beautiful picture, can you see it from your house? Thanks so much for sharing.

I like the snow even if it is holding my camper hostage at the moment.

I like the snow from a distance. When it stays up around 3500' that suits me. Great to admire, but Im just not a cold weather person anymore & I'm originaly from Michigan.

Well almost, it's about a 10 minute hike, uphill, to a blueberry farm. DW and I were up there snowshoeing this AM and she took this picture. Nice huh? I Don't think I could ever live where there were no mountains.

Farctic - Great photo! You ski the Punchbowl in the spring? We've still got the snow on the coast with more coming in Tuesday. Was over at Recompence Campground farmhouse today for knitting and the road up to West Bay is still snowed in pretty hard. They've been plowing the dirt road by the barns into that road so it will be awhile before we can camp there. Also the bridge in from Wolfes Neck Road has been condemned. You can walk over it but no vehicle traffic of any kind. Thought of you guys today looking out at all the cross country ski tracks through the cow fields.

We took the F-350 out for a spin today TCless just to keep the oil lubricating whatever it needs to do. Felt too odd not to have the TC on board. Soon!

Whazoo, DW is the photoshop expert, my pictures LOOK like camera phone pics, which Russd's don't.

Maniacs, let me know the moment the west bay at Recompence clears, I'll be there! That bridge was down to 3 tons last summer so I ended up using the other road in. Hope they upgrade it to at least 6 tons. What's the punchbowl?
