Can anyone recommend a good campground close to Niagara Falls on the Canadian side? We will be there for 3-4 days this July in a 35' coach with our 6 and 8 year old kids and a dog. From rvparkreviews.com, Riverside Park Motel & Campground sounds like what we are looking for, have any of you been there? Thanks.

Check out the water park and slide. A real cement pond, or more so lake. My kids loved it and I'd definitely go back. Was about 20 minutes outside past the falls.

A second thumbs up for Lundy Lane KOA. There is a bus service that picks you up just outside the CG entrance which takes you to Niagra Falls (about 3 miles away) and all surrounding attractions. You can get on/off the bus at your leisure all for about 3 bucks per person. CG has indoor and outdoor pools and activities on the weekends.

Old Bird,
In response to your original question, yes, I have been to Riverside. I found the owners of this campground to be the most friendly that I've ever encountered. In addition, it is just a few miles down the road from the falls, but definitely away from the hussle and bussle of the Falls area. So, yes, I've been there and would return again.
I'm making an assumption that you have a toad to go with your 35' coach. Obviously, I would let the campground know about the size of your rig and they should be able to accomodate you.
Hope that helps!

we stayed at the jelly stone campground 3 years ago. It had just been purchased by the new owners. It was at that time a work in progress. We went in June just before the busy season started, we would stay again.

We were there summer 07 and stayed at Campark. We enjoyed our stay and this campground is on also Lundy Lane, as is the KOA. We visited the KOA and it was about the same, but more expensive. The same shuttle bus goes to Campark as the other campgrounds. Either campground is fine.
You can buy a pass for the shuttle and use it on multiply days. Parking downtown is $10.00 per day.
