A previous poster suggested Little Farm by the River outside Cincinnati. It's actually in Rising Sun, Indiana and right next door to the Grand Victoria Casino. Didn't know if it would make a difference to you. It is a great campground. The sites down by the river are big and wide, better than the pond side sites.

I was reading through this thread and noticed some of the posts read that Army Corps campgrounds didn't allow alcohol at all. Here in Mo. that is not the case. You are not allowed to have alcohol in the public areas such as boat ramps, swim areas, public pavillions, playgrounds. When you are in your camp site that is your own business as long as you aren't making a nuisance of yourself. I would think that since A.C.O.E. parks are federal the same rules would apply across the U.S. Is this not the case...hmmm? Oh well, I would suggest as others have that your choice is going to be private campgrounds where the owners can control what the rules are on their property. Personally I have had a lot more problems with parents allowing their kids to run wild, or just rude adults who weren't drunk being a pain in the caboose. But if the thought of alcohol makes you nervous than you have to find the best option available for you. As long as you get out there and have fun, and not mess with others is all that matters.

Very few Christian groups do not condone the consumption of alcohol.
You will have more success by specifically calling religious or Anti-Alcohol groups that specifically do not condone the consumption of alcohol.
Every single campground and RVPark I have ever been to is Non-Alcoholic. I have never seen a campground or RVPark that specifically caters to Alcoholics.

We stayed at one near San Francisco about four years ago. In the morning, when we went to dispose of our empty beverage containers, we put it in the container with all the other empty beverage containers.
I reckon it is a catch all for those that choose to consume, then become obnoxious to others.
Still, if that is your choice within your confines, please feel free to enjoy yourself as you see fit. I will permit you to behave as you wish, if you will do the same as long as we don't bother each other.

I am glad you had a good trip.
We are not alcohol drinkers either. My dad is a Bpt.Preacher.We have never had a problem with any cg and we have been camping for 40 years.
Some folks chose to drink and they seem to keep it at there own site and do not publicize it.
Most cg even have a church service on Sunday morning.if they do not offer one we have our own little devotion.
Yogi in Cherokee is a great family place to camp too. I have pics on my profile.
I am disappointed in some the post that I have read here.
Some of us have different wants and likes. Some people want a cg that does not allow children, pets, tents, and other types of campers.
There is no reason why we should not respect the views of other campers. They do not effect us personlly anyway. So why the rants
I hope I get to camp beside all of you some day down the road.
Spring is here so lets all go Camping
