We just purchased our retirement home and the truck to tow it. We should be full-timing early next year . My question is how do you keep the camper washed and waxed when full-timimg?

I wash the two units when ever it looks like they need it. I use Blue Coral wash and wax which is very inexpensive and apply it with a long handled soft brush. Works for me.

I know that in Myrtle Beach there is a car wash that has a large bay for MH and RV's. So I am sure you would be able to find places where you can wash your RV. I would bet that with permission you could wash your RV at some campgrounds.

Most places wont let you wash at the campsite.
Maybe have it done at a truck stop?

We wash our MH as needed. When it's really dirty we get out the pressure washer which we kept on board.
We also wax the mh and roof once a year. The easiest way to do is one section at a time. We finished the roof last week and most of the sides this week. One more round to go. Yeah!

Keep your eyes opened for high bays at self service car washes. Some parts of the country have a lot but there are areas where they're very scarce. Truck stops
charge about a dollar per foot.
Most campgrounds don't allow washing but waxing is fine.

Some CG's do allow washing & some don't. Here we pay a $10 nonrefundable fee. We usually wash it once when it's time to leave. Haven't needed to wax yet, since we use an RV Wash/Wax cleaner. Still looks great after 2 years on the road.

On our annual migration route we stay at a couple of RV parks that allow RV washing. We wax at one of those places.
In between I use a "waterless" RV wash. I use a two gallon bucket of water with two oz of the wash. It takes two buckets to do the entire motor home. You wash small areas of the RV with a wet cloth and immediately wipe it with a dry cloth.
The stuff I use is made by ProtectAll.
Since there is such a small amount of water used I have never had an RV park hassle me about it.

I was told by the manufacturer, "do not pressure wash, truck wash/car wash". I use a soft brush and Simple Green in a bucket, it doesn't take much simple green, then rinse. Simple Green is what a couple of dealers I know use.

Many of the campgrounds we visit either have or allow outside businesses to come and wash and/or wax your rig.
In fact we had ours washed and waxed in a Campground in Florida in November, and were able to have it washed in Texas just last week.
It seems to me that more and more campgrounds have this available. Several years ago, it was hard to find someone to provide the service.
