I just had my springs replaced in my 35GS with 19,000 springs. Jayco and a GMC Dealer, Gallow GMC, Vineland, NJ handled the whole job at no expense to me. Although the replacement work took longer than expected 4 days over a weekend. It drove fine on the short trip home about 18 miles. Couldn't tell a differance except coach was a litter higher in the rear. It cured the right side listing for now. This weekend we will see if it handles the trailer better than the 15,000 springs.

What did it take to convince Jayco and GM to replace the rear springs for you. I just picked up my 2008 FS36 from my dealer for warranty work and they said that Jayco would not replace the springs unless they were broken.
I definately am not through with Jayco on this, but did you contact Jayco directly. My dealer, I feel didn't even try. They also dropped the ball on my GE microwave.
I had called them from Arizona while we were on vacation and they said to bring it in when we got back home from vacation. I took it to them, 500 + miles, and all they did is replace a lightbulb in the coach, and charged me for the bulb. They said that GE would repair or replace the Microwave at my location, so now I am back home and have an appointment with GE monday.
A 1000 mile round trip for nothing, that was the last time they will see me there.
Oh well, we live and learn. At least I turned my trip to the dealer into a two week trip to Tennessee.

I called and made an inqury that the right side of the coach was listing. The next day they called me with a claim number. The GMC dealer handled the rest with Jayco.

19,000 springs a must do for towing, major improvement.
Saturday we didn’t bottom out going over the railway crossing going to the track and on the way back we took the tracks without slowing down as much.
We went to Cecil, Maryland Sunday, 163 mile round trip, and the new springs made the trip smoother on the Highway. Interstate 295 is a bumpy road and we could tell a big difference with the new springs. Also the coach did not sway in the wind or passing trucks.

Add a set of Koni shocks and you will be really happy. I was.

Guys,
Is there anyway to see if the spring mod has really been completed? I bought my '06 35GS and they said the spring upgrade had been done. While the coach sits level I would like to know if it was really done.
I went under the coach today and counted 7 leaf springs.
Anyway...I was just wondering.
