I disagree with you here...the Tweens have much power and allowances!
Do the names Miley Cyrus, the Jonas Brothers, HIGH SCHOOL MUSICAL ring a bell? these are all the tweenagers obsessions at the moment. David A will be included if the screams in the audience are any indication of how well they love him. I think the powers that be know this and will market him to the full extent. You will see that goofy grin all over the place! AI is just a money marketing machine..not about talent as much as it is about who sells to the American public. Taylor Hicks sold on the air, but not on radio, no talent there. The manager that takes on the winners of AI is the same that market the "boy bands". More teen age money coming in. Picture lunch boxes, sleeping bags, posters, etc with David A's grin on it...he's has that Ah-shucks face that mothers love.
I know teens that are waiting to buy anything with his face on it already..

For all you who think David A. is such a nice boy - I say the apple doesn't fall too far from the tree. His dad just got booted from backstage for interferring AGAIN. I say again because the guy was booted from StarSearch also. That nice boy act is just that - he's playing you like a fiddle.

Sorry, but I don't see the connection. I knew about the Star Search thing, and the issues at Idol, as well with the father.
Did you ever consider that, just maybe, David might know better than to cross him?  That, just maybe, that scared look some mention might be based on a legitimate reason?
