We got our first motorhome 12 years ago when we had two children, a 2 yr. old and 9 month old. We used 2 bedrails, shoved the legs under the cushions and made the dinette into a crib, we had to over lap the rails. We also used bedrails on the over the cab bed for the 2 year old it worked great. We also used to set up a swing on the bed in the back when we were camped. We have 2 more kids now and are happy to say they all survived infancy, toddler hood and we will see if we survive teenage hood! By the way they all still enjoy camping with the family and look forward to our many trips.

We used one of those slide by side sleepers for our first daughter 4 years ago. We have another one on the way (any day!) and we got a travel crib at a shower. It's by Graco and is says that it is 20% smaller than the normal Pac & Play. Looks like it will do the job...

Our first TT had the dinette & sofa on the slide, so we put the pack & play on the floor kind of in front of the sofa. It took up floor space, but during the day & in between naps we put it on top of our queen bed to get it out of the way. The saving grace for us was the baby monitor with rechargeable batteries. We could put the baby down at night & take the monitor with us while we enjoyed the campfire & visited with other family. We only went back in the trailer when we were sure the baby was asleep!
