I found Dick to be friendly and knowledgeable. I had many enjoyable communications with him about RVing and life in general. He always took a personal interest in things I was involved in.

He will be missed.

Having known Dick personally for the last few years it was a tremendous loss and shock to me. Dick is at Rainbow Bridge meeting up with his friends and beginning a new eternal adventure in his new RV park. God speed my friend, God speed.

Oh my...it is amazing how you can feel the hurt when you have never met the person.....he always kept the tone congenial, even when needing to close a thread. Such a sudden thing....or you know...maybe not....its funny how you think you know someone on here, yet other than the name Snowbird...I really didn't. Thanks to whoever it was that posted a picture.
Please send our condolences to his family.

How tragic. He was always in my corner helping me find just the right people to talk to or threads to join. He was one of a kind. I know we will all miss him and my prayers are with his family.

Our condolences as well. Judging by his moderations on this site, he was a gentleman with a sincere interest in helping. He undoubtedly helped many.

I'm reading this with tears in my eyes for a man I never met but still feel as if I know. My deepest condolences to his family. Hey Dick...say hi to my friends who are waiting for me as you cross the Rainbow Bridge.

I, too, knew he was in bad health, but he did not want to do anything about it.

I am so sorry, Dick, for myself, but wish you well on your new trip. You will certainly be missed here.

I have never met Dick in person, but had many wonderful online conversations with him, and found him to be a true gentle-man. He will be missed both here and in the Open Roads Singles.
