While Dick and I didn't see eye to eye on most things I am deeply sadden with his passing.
Dick loved his group and all that participated in it. His group and nightly chat brought happiness to many retired people as they found support, kindness and friendship in it's membership.
Dick was a huge supporter of the RV Net and I know he will be missed there also.
As it says above please keep him and his family in your thoughts and prayer.

I'm so sad!!! What a wonderful, caring and kind person. I'm so happy I got a chance to meet Dick. He will be missed by all the members of Open Roads Singles who loved him so much. Thanks Dick for being my friend. Your friend Houston

Dick was my friend. As he was to so many of the people on the forum.
I was surprised to figure out that I had only met him once. It feels like he was my best friend of many, many years. We were both nightowls and many a time he would help me with my computer problems at 1 or 2 am.
You will be missed greatly my friend. Go with God

Dick was a huge source of support for me during my first days as a moderator. He was never too busy to answer a question, and always had a joke or funny story to share.
I never had the privilege of meeting Dick in person, but felt like I had known him for years. He was just that kind of man.
I'll miss you my friend.. Rest well

So sad. Dick was the very first person on RV.Net to whom I sent and received a PM. I'm a photographer and asked him a simple question about his old photo business. His response began, "my apology for not replying sooner Don as there is no easy answer to your question and I wanted time to think about it." He continued with a detailed, thoughtful and helpful reply.
Rest in peace Snowbird.

I too never met Dick in person but he has helped me with problems.
Dick, May you be free from any pain and suffering and be happy in the arms of the Supreme Camper above. May God Bless your family and friends in this time of sorrow.

Thank you for posting that picture Admin. It is fitting that he be remembered toasting the people here at rv.net and at OpenRoadsSingles that meant so much to him. He will surely be missed.
