Oh, also mine was giving a flame sense code (two flash), if the sensor is loose I could see that, if not, might have to take it in, but I need to look into that switch everyone was talking about.

funny that this should come up months after op, as we are on our way back to factory. although I thought the mystery was solved it wasn't.

weve now replaced control board, tstat, checked propane, tightened electode and still not working.

based on prior posts were going to ask for a new furnace. well see.

A couple of other things I have experienced:
If your battery voltage is down, the fan speed will be slow, and the sail switch won't trigger.....

Most big dealers or Camping worlds will have a board tester in their parts department. Lazy Days parts department verified that mine didn't work....when they gave me the price I told them I'd have to wait. Terrible thing to do to them, but I got one online for about $60 versus $120 at LD. Atwood's tech support line gave me a list of dealers in the area who had the board tester.

Atwood's website, I think, had a testing protocol for determining where the problem was. It went through item by item and you just tested for voltages at different points, maybe jumped out some switches as part of the procedure. Basically when you hit no voltage or a low voltage that told you which part was bad. Any body could do the diagnosis in minutes with the plan in front of them and a decent meter.

I found another post in the technical forum that said they had the sail switch fail and cause the exact same symptoms, I've already got my unit down and supposibly the switch is less than $3 so I'm just gonna throw one in and see what happens (and get a spare too!)

Check this discussion,,, exact same symptoms as me and about 5 others that I can tell by reading.

From outward appearance I would consider this a product defect. All of the units I'm reading about have very little time on them. I was in contact with Atwood factory via email,,,, ya think they would mention that,,,, noooooooo.

Trying to get a idea for this. Mine comes on and runs up to temp and the furnace cuts off and the blower keeps running and running and running. But the furnace never comes back on. The blower keeps blowing cold air. This sound familiar to anyone? If I turn it off, and back on, it will repeat the process. This sound familiar to anyone?

my hubby works in residential hvac sales and his guess was the thermostat. hth

eta

or
might not be the board but the flame sensor if its not sensing flame.

he said take a brillo pad or sand paper and clean off corrosion on flame sensor. this makes no sense to me...but he was trying to explain it to me for a good 5 minutes.

Exact same as mine and a lot of others I'm reading.

I'll put my money on the sail switch,,,, reading above others have tried new T-stats ect,,,, again, sounds like a product defect,,, and or a built in defect to keep dealer service revenue up!

As soon as I can get my hands on one and install it I'll let you know, should take about a week or two.

What do you want to bet they're on back order.

Bummer,,, dead wrong,,,, tried the sail switch for the hell of it cause it was cheap and didn't do anything, the old one tested good before I changed it but I thought it migh be intermitant but no go,,, same dam 2 flash "flame sense" code.

Not sure what my next move is,,, about ready to take the thing out and throw it away.
