I have the Fleetwood Evolution E2 and I really like it. Its pretty well designed and well built. I looked at the Palimino and Jayco before I bought this and thought the Fleetwood was higher quality. I've towed it over the highway on a long hunting trip and it towed great, and I've also had it on some primitive roads on another trip. So Far I haven't had to fix anything on it other than a connection on one of the curtains. I did install a valve to drain the water tank, since it has a treaded plug. Also, I will put in a disconnect switch on the battery since it doesn't have one.

I have a 2007 E-1 and so far it has performed well. I usually take it on dirt roads and everything seems to be holding together pretty well. Tows like a dream. Also I liked the ability to add a Yakima rack system for my bike and kayaks. I went with the E-1 over the E-2 because it fits nicely in my garage (my Home Owners Association doesn't allow a trailer to be parked outside).

Douglas, It was love at first sight when I saw the E1. I ended up with the E2 because of the toilet/shower and upgraded to the E3 due to the slide out. I'm quite happy with the Evolution series and would recomend them to anyone.

Fleetwood Evolution E3 - Yellow (DW let me get a Yellow one since she wanted an E3 with a slide out )
Hummer H2 - Black (DW vetoed the Yellow one, but I got two Yellow Hummer Folding Mountain bikes )

I picked up a brand new E-2 from a guy with buyers remorse for just over 1/2 of the retail price. If I was going to buy new, an E-1 would have fit my needs very nicely. While it's convenient to have the cassette potty we rarely use it and could substitute a porta potty. We never use the shower and the unit does take up quite a bit of space.

We are very happy with the E-2 and would recommend the Evolution series to anyone.

Never say never. Very handy when getting the dust off from a good day out playing.

We own a 2008 Evolution E1 and are very satisfied with it. There were a few minor things amiss with it when we took deliver of it, but the dealership ironed them out.

We considered the E2, but the toilet/ shower combo took up so much space that the trailer actually felt smaller inside than the E1. The outside shower head is sufficient for most clean-up needs. The E2 also had less cupboard space. The E3 was nice, but too large for our needs.

We bought it last fall and have only taken it out for three camping trips so far. It tows beautifully behind our Nissan Xterra (we opted for a weight-distributing hitch) even on the rough dirt roads around Moab, Utah. The 35 gallon water tank and dual batteries were a plus for autumn desert camping.

Ron,
Would love to get some more feedback on your E1 in Utah. I am looking at purchasing the same unit and live in PC. Thanks, Mike

We recently bought the E1. We took it offroad....and down into some pretty rugged canyons and it did really well. It was loaded too. The one MAJOR issue I had was how much dust got into the unit when towing on a dirt road. Has anyone had the same experience? There was so much dust inside we had to clean it before we could go in there. I am going to buy some silicone sealant and DAPTEX expanding foam and go to work on this beast to try and seal it up.
