Or more bluntly, why would you want this information? Feel free to PM me if you want to discuss, thanks.

Or less bluntly, I was just curious as we have property in the White Mtns near a very popular "Park Model" retirement community.

We are new at this AZ RV title thing and need some guidance on the procedure. We have bought a new 2008 Park Model from the lot of an Arizona dealer, no trade in, cash deal. He has our check issued on Saturday, for the full amount of purchase, there is no Realtor, Escrow or legal authority involved like a house deal. The dealer says he is bonded. The dealer completed a title registration form for us with the understanding he will register it with motor vehicles and the unit is to be delivered to our lot on Wednesday of next week. I thought that we should be the ones to register the vehicle as opposed to the dealer? Also, how does one verify the dealer is bonded in a manner that protects our interests on this kind of a purchase?

I am not sure I can answer all of your questions but I have a question for your question. Did you get paperwork regarding your purchase and with a delivery date clearly written down? Most dealers will do the registration themselves to make sure it is registered and no longer in their name. If you recieved your paperwork with the identifying information of the trailer and the delivery date and address of the delivery then there should be no problem with your purchase.

The paper work (purchase agreement) has only their lot stock number on it, the full VIN is not mentioned. The VIN is on the frame of the unit and I printed it on the "FOR" field on the face of the final payment cheque and I have verified it from the frame. The only date is the date the initial deposit was made, no mention of a specific delivery date, delivery date was agreed verbally.

Okay, the next question would be did you get a copy of the paperwork the dealer is using to register the trailer? This paperwork should have all information on it including owner's name, address, trailer identification number, etc. If not, I would be hightailing it right back there and get a copy of the paperwork and also get it written in stone on the delivery date with address just to protect yourself.

Forgive me for my stupidity but I think I have the answer to my question. In order to have a business licence from the Arizona Department of Revenue you have to be bonded. Simple as that, but, if you do not have an understanding of the basics you feel vulnerable under the circumstances.

I think you will be fine. Park models and mobil homes are titled like a vehicle in AZ. You probably filled out a power of attorny form alowing the dealer to process your title. It may take several weeks to get the title tho.
