Just had a King Dome sat dish installed on my fiver....Worked great in my driveway {So. Cal}. I have Dish Network and it works off two satellites.....Switches form one to the other just fine....Went to Laughlin Nv..for the weekend and the unit would only lock onto one satellite. Got home and the unit worked fine in my driveway? Did I miss something or do something wrong.....Clear view of the sky form RV park in Laughlin....Thanks
What programming were you not getting on that second satellite. Could it be that you were looking for your local (home) channels. Those channels are "spot beamed." Once you are out of the "spot", you can no longer receive them.
Since you said it would only lock onto one sat.. Is it possible that SOMETHING was in your way? I mean, I know Laughlin is not well forested like I have here (I can't lock on either satellite) but there might have been a lamp post in the way

Is it possible that something was in the way of the 2nd bird, I mean, here in well forested Michigan I can't see either DISH bird from where I keep my rig, I know trees are not as big a problem in Laughlin, but even a well placed lamp post can block you if it's close enough
