Heading down to Sarasota on March 20th. Can hardly wait. My Class C is sitting in my driveway just waiting to be dewinterized but the temps won't stay up. We are staying at Sun N Fun; anybody else going to be down there?
Have a wonderful time. Enjoy the beaches of Siesta Key, Jungle Gardens, check out Pelican Man's sanctuary and tons of other stuff. Beautiful area. Pick up an area map so you can find the roads that parallel Rt. 41, and not get stuck in the Route 41 traffic.
We're leaving the 21st, staying at Holiday Cove, takes 5 mins to get to the beach on Anna Marie.
We go every year, you'll love St. Armands Circle, great shops, terrific restaurants, very expensive shops so I mostly just look
Check out The Pelican Man, Mote Marine is awsome.
Bradenton and Holmes beach...white sugar sand.

Sorry to break the news to you, but Pelican Man's Bird Sanctuary closed down. They had a host of problems, including mismanagement, lack of funds, etc. It's a shame.
