You are going to get a million people telling you to look at a million differant models & manufactures.

My wife and I wanted living room SPACE, with a moderatly equipped hauler, in the mid 30' range.

We just signed papers on a brand new 5er 2007 Fleetwood Gearbox 375FS. There are 2 recliners (similiar to the WW set up) and a bench/couch with a table. Then, there is about 9 feet before you get to the back drop down beds.
It has enough space that we can put up the babies playpen, and he can have his room to play around.
The floor plan gets ride of the dinette. It is amazing how much more room this hauler has, and still is comparable with any other hauler we looked at.

PM me for more info. I would put this hauler & floorplan against any other of its comparable size.

Have you looked at the W/W LE series? Ours seems to have most of the floorplan features you want. I believe the LE is the best selling toyhauler of all time, and there are good reasons for that success.

The Weekend Warrior SLC has a separate restroom and is closed off from the living room and the bedroom. The 2006 model we have has 3 closets (2 in restroom, 1 in bedroom) plus drawers galore in bedroom. They don't make the 3505 anymore but you might check out the 3705. They made some changes for the 2007 version but not sure what all of those were.

It will cut it if he is talking 90k retail and getting 33% off. I think he is talking 60k net, not retail for quality. just a $30,000
difference???

08 F-450 Red Lariat 08 KZ Inferno 3912 - 24k Superglide with under bed rails sitting in garage not going to be used, what a shame.

Thats exactly why I threw it out there. Buyers market BIG TIME, for at least the rest of this year. Manufacturers will be begging for buyers as we write. Some will probably scale way back in labor and lease, and I'll bet some close shop.
OP is in the Cat-Bird seat!!! Go for it Dude !!!

Just saw the new KZ 2910 it has a half circle dinette. The trailer was really nice. I know this is a little smaller than you are looking for but I think this is an option on some of the bigger models.

Just bought new 2008 weekend warrior slc3705 loaded to the hilt for low 40's, actually went to look at trailers but they were the same price if not more for the fsc2800. Had a forty foot toy hauler before, I bought new in 04. I bought the cheapest thing I could afford and had nothing but problems, spend the money you will be a lot happier in the long run. I have been anle to get my old 40 footer into any state campground, koa, and in the woods just fine with some spotters sometimes. good luck shopping

(1)I realize this is whiney, but I am getting ready to spend upwards of $60,000 for a new RV, and I have yet to find a coach were real thought, engineering and attention to detial has gone into it.

I currently have a Rage'n FS2600, which is great, but I would now like some more room, in the form of a fifth wheel toy hauler. I have been researching for a few months now (the listing in RV.net is great), and am becoming increasingly frustrated. It seems all the manufacturers, for the most part, simply copy eachother. There is nothing different nor originial out there except for perhapes the Weekend Warrior 3505 LED and maybe one or two others...I have yet to visit the dealership on that one though.

I am astounded at how little thought goes into these machines. Most of the fifth wheels have a sofa next to a dinette on the same side of the trailer. This makes it difficult for the people on the couch to(2)when you are sitting on the couch or at the table, your view out of the coach is limited to the kitchen cabinets, instead of the great outdoors.
have a face to face conversation with the people at the table. Further, with most of these floor plans, when you are sitting on the couch or at the table, your view out of the coach is limited to the kitchen cabinets, instead of the great outdoors.

A number of these coaches literaly have nowhere to get dressed in private, unless you try to cram yourself into the tiny bathroom. A simple sliding or accordian door would solve this problem. (3)Further, closet space in a number of these fifth wheels is a joke....one closet that is maybe 2 feet across??? How are you supposed to live for extended periods with that?

What I am looking for is a 30'-35' (anything more than that is too big, and too hard to get into many campgrounds, forests) fifth wheel with a partioned garage, opossing couch and dinnet, decent sized closet (or at least 2-3 smaller ones), doors to close the bedroom off from the bath, and the bath from the main living area, two exterior side doors (one to the living area, one to the garage), lots of large windows to enjoy the scenery (vice the view of cabinets as seems to be the norm in many of these). Some unique touches would help too...(4)how about a wet-well in the luggage area that you can fill with ice and soda/beer that would drain out on the ground? That way you got your cold drinks on the patio, yet out of the sun; saw this on one Gear Box. How about consolidating all the control switches and system monitors in one panel, instead of strewn hap-hazardly throughout the coach? (5) Double paned glass would sure help in the winter, and blisteringly hot summers when in the desert. (6) I could go on and on.

I will continue searching...perhaps the 3505 LED will do it, otherwise perhaps next year.

1.) yes it is.
2) Dude it's as TOY hauler not a beachfront condo...get OUTSIDE and ride!
3.) GET OUT AND RIDE! (pack a bag, you sound like my wife)
4.) Ice chest w/ wheels $12.95 walmart
5.) Stay out of the desert in the Summer. Way too hot. Go to the beach.
6.) No doubt in my mind you could.

(It's all in fun bro...get out and ride)

Glamis...why go anywhere else?
