I am not sure these are the 2 to compare, they are differently made. I would think that the comparison should be Bigfoot vs Northern Lite or Lance vs Host. I think this would be more comparable. I don't think that there is a manufacturer that hasn't had good and bad posts made about them, although the ones that complain about BF's seem to scream the loudest. Me I would not hesitate to get another BF in the future.

THANKS TO ALL THAT REPLIED ! The Reason I want to compare the 2 is that I own a Lance 1010 Which I really Like ,Ordered with the options I wanted. I am purchasing A Bigfoot 3000 10.11 at agood price so I have no experience with the Bigfoot But like a lot of things about it .Looking to sell 1.
and keep the other Long Term

Before I bought my new Lance I was almost the proud owner of a Bigfoot. A friend of mine was selling an '04 with a slide. It was the biggest one Bigfoot offered 10.11E or something like that. It was a gorgeous camper and appeared to be every bit as good as any Lance I'd ever owned. I almost bought it, but I just couldn't get over the aluminum scissor steps to get in/out when the camper was on the truck. I think that clam shell design is awesome.
Good luck with the new camper...I think you'll be very happy with it.

I agree with Capterik, however the 3000 series Bigfoot could be compared Lance or Host. The 3000 models are similarly assembled, separate hard walls, rubber roof, front cap, rear cap. I would slightly be inclined for the Bigfoot though.
If you can do without a slideout, I would pick the Bigfoot 2500 10.6 with the dry bath. I'm not sure if the quality control is that much better, but the design (one piece top and bottom fiberglass shell) is by far my favourite.

I just got thru making that same decision. I did not choose Big Foot because:
1. The scissor steps. What a pain! Need to stop for a second and have to deal with that?
2. That sit way too high in the truck be for my taste.
3. Cost. Way over priced for me.
The Lance is a 2002 lance 1130. Bought from second owner with all options. I have not been able to find one thing to fix or be concerned about. I have owned all types of RV's for 38 years and have rebuilt and remodled several. I know what to look for. Lance does not have the clam shell design. That is the only negative I see. The Lance is every bit of the quality that BF is. I don't think that has always been true.

My wife feels the same about that sccissor step she just hates it but like most things in the BF except the TV location and no sat dish on the roof.
