Hello, have some problems with the holding tank level systems. The gray seems to be OK , the Black shows 1/3 even thou its empty. And the fresh water does not have any induction at all . No lights ,no nothing. And the battery seems to be correct.
Any heads up would be appreciated.
The system is on a 2002 Terry Dakota 5ver. ,, Thanks Ron
Give up on the sensors from that came with the rig and install a set of SeeLevel gauges and sensors. They aren't cheap but the sensor are outside the tank so they won't foul and are more accurate.

Thanks, as a retired electrician, I thought about the variable resistance of the liquids in those tanks, this is something that I did have to deal with a time or two when I was trying to put bread on the table, but not now . USE THE dump station!!!
Ron - I've an idea I want to 'share' (I hate that expression, but it fits sometimes). How about 3 premanently mounted bulbs - regular auto type, one on each tank. They need to be affixed to the 'non-business' side, at the bottom of the tanks, thermally insulated from direct contact with the tank itself. The bulbs will be controlled by a 3 minute timer, all working off the standard 12 volts. Then when one turns the lights on, one could see directly the liquid level in the tank, from the 'business' side. Sound good? Some expirimentation is needed, obviously. No, it won't work for those new rigs with tanks between the chassis rails, but I'l leave it to those guys to adapt the idea. Whaddayathink??
