Refloyd - I was getting rather tired of this long long Chicago winter, but I'll choose it over your kind of heat. God Bless!!!

Sometimes a post wanders off in a great direction. Sure glad this one took this turn. Does ones heart good to see this type of unity.

Now for the “Happy Thoughts” camping in the good ole USA!!! Family and I had a lot of good fun, on the weekend load up with our little popup and head out to the lake. Nothing better than sitting around the campfire, watching the sunset with the wife and four kids.. Once I return, plan is to purchase a 5th wheel, looking forward to that. Thanks for bringing back those memories!

My son is currently in Basic Training at Ft.Benning. All of you guys have a special place in my heart. Thank you for what all of you are doing. Without guys like you, we wouldn't be able to enjoy the simple freedom of camping. Be safe, and hope to see that you are soon back in the good ole USA enjoying your family. God Bless you!

Mr. JohnG3,

I owe you an apology for starting this, sorry would have never dreamed of the off topic responses/encouragement that was generated. And on that note, thank you everyone from the bottom of my heart. (It will take several weeks to get the lump out of my throat.) It is truly an honor to serve with the Men and Women with the U.S. Army and all other Services, and cannot forget all of the other NATO forces that have troops here. It is a privilege to wear the Red, White, and Blue on my right shoulder. Lessons that I have learned is yes, sometimes the grass is greener on the other side of the fence (me looking back to the states ). Live everyday as the last, and each and every sunrise and sunset is awesome, no matter where you are. God Bless the USA, and keep those camp fires burning!!
The stories going, and when I return, Drinks are on me! Coffee or whatever your flavor.
Do not apologize,it puts my whining because its 30 degrees and snowing into a whole different perspective....Thank you for your service, our prayers are with you, return home safe and GODS SPEED....

Bless you and bless your family as well.

"They also serve who only stand and wait.". I've been in those shoes a time or two. I'm an Army brat and was a soldier's wife.
