Mr. JohnG3,

I owe you an apology for starting this, sorry would have never dreamed of the off topic responses/encouragement that was generated. And on that note, thank you everyone from the bottom of my heart. (It will take several weeks to get the lump out of my throat.) It is truly an honor to serve with the Men and Women with the U.S. Army and all other Services, and cannot forget all of the other NATO forces that have troops here. It is a privilege to wear the Red, White, and Blue on my right shoulder. Lessons that I have learned is yes, sometimes the grass is greener on the other side of the fence (me looking back to the states ). Live everyday as the last, and each and every sunrise and sunset is awesome, no matter where you are. God Bless the USA, and keep those camp fires burning!!
The stories going, and when I return, Drinks are on me! Coffee or whatever your flavor.

I suspect most would agree no apologies are necessary. Please keep us posted and know that real people here are praying for your personal safety. Isn't it great that our idle chitchat on the forums can bring comfort to those who are serving overseas? Your post has no doubt given a lot of us comfort in knowing that we've somehow made a difference.

Best wishes to you and those serving with you!

Hit the nail on the head. I don't think it occurred to anyone that you needed to apologize. Just stay safe.

We used to spend a lot of time from Bodega Bay to Fort Ross when I lived in that area.
Wright's Beach, part of Sonoma Coast, was never vacant unless there was one heck of a storm slamming the coastline.
