I recently went to an RV show and really liked a 2008 PW Excel-TS. Show price was $75,000. For the life of me I can't remember anything about the engine, chassi etc. Does PW use the same for all their Excel-TS rigs, or is there a better option combo I should be wanting. Sorry, I'm the proverbial women shopper so any help would be appreciated. Also I would love to hear from other PW owners. Thanks!

The Excel is made on a Ford Van chassis only. At the price you quoted, it almost sounds like it's a 2007 Ford chassis/2008 PW camper.
It'll either have a 5.4 SOHC (single overhead cam), V8 w/4spd auto or a 6.7(I believe) SOHC, V10 w/5spd automatic. You'll only need the V10 if you plan on towing with it.
Nice B van camper for sure.......

I'm sure the salesman told me but after a while it all gets too confusing.

The Excel is a nice rig. Expect about 13 MPG with the 5.4 engine and steady highway driving. Pleasure-Way is a great company, and they will stand behind their product.
Take a thorough test drive in it though. There have been some stability issues reported on this forum about the Ford Chassis; especially at highway speeds involving crosswinds and/or air blasts from speeding semis.

We have the 2007 Excel TS and we love it. As for the handling issue, there is a lot of info on this forum but, in summary: always keep the tires inflated at the specified pressure (65 front, 80 rear) and if it does not feel right, contact Phil at the PW plant to get the alignment adjusted to the PW specs (not the standard Ford specs). I had it done in Saskatoon while visiting the PW plant and it did make a difference.
It does handle differently from a typical car so take your time, enjoy the scenery. No need to rush home, you are always home in a B.

If you get a chance try driving both the Lexor on the Chevy chassis and the Excel on the Ford. I far preferred how the Chevy handled, though the Ford was okay as well. Check for legroom in each also. The Excel offers the wet bath and slightly wider body, a little more storage but a slightly higher price than the Lexor with the set up shower.

They didn't have the Lexor there. I would have loved to have tried it out. The Excel TS fit me like a glove. The driver's seat was very comfortable, easy to get in and out, as was the side opening. It just felt right but I didn't want to only love what my eyes saw. I need to do my homework on the inner workings of the unit, too, especially on the engine. I'm hearing that a diesel engine is the way to go for longevity and good mileage. But that seems to add tons of $$ to the price tag.

Not sure if this will work but I'll try posting some pics I took of the Excel.

In the words of a well known financial advice radio host "Bruce Williams" - never fall in love with something that cannot love you back. The operative word is like.
