Tim/Gale, I finally finished installing my sensors today. I had one that would not work. Discovered it was the valve stem extension that was faulty. Put on a new one and it worked perfectly. The only thing that still bothers me is it takes "A While" for all of the sensors to come on line. Even tho, disconnecting one sets off the alarm very fast. Have not tried a trip yet but so far everything looks OK.

Horace, Hang in there, I personally think you will like the product when you receive it. I looked at the Pressure Pro at a Rally in Fl and I like this one much better.

For what it's worth, when I talked to Tina last week I got the impression that they were monitoring this forum. She did not state this exact forum but I believe that they are getting feedback and trying to correct past mistakes. If they stay in business and the warrantee stay in place, how can we go wrong?

A little Southern Boy's thoughts. Happy 4th to all.

I have been having problems with mine "dropping" sensors while traveling. I talked to Mike and DJ and they are going to send me a new monitor when the new shipment. Since we are on the way to Alaska, they are going to call me when the units arrive and I am going find a campground a few days out to have them drop ship it to me. But it saved me today. I pulled out of Calgary, AB, went about 30 miles, fueled up and got back on 1 toward Banff and Jasper. A couple of miles down the road, my right front tire on the toad started readsing 15PSI. I stopped and aired it up. If not for the monitor, I probably would have ruined tire and rim. A good Investment.

Called again today.....

Asked to speak to Tina, hold on I'll connect you....

Tina is away from her desk, can I have her to call you back?

gave her the phone numbers..... after two hours another call...

connect me to Tina, thank you...

Several minutes later, Tina is out for today due to a death in her family! May I speak to Mike? He is out of the office and won't be in till Monday.

IS THIS BS? OR AM I GETTING THE RUN AROUND?

I'll call again on monday.... have a HAPPY 4th

I finally gave up. I ordered a 12 sensor system over a month ago. I never received a confirmation from the website or an email from them. So I emailed them and got no response... I emailed again, again no response. I called and was told it would ship in 1 day. After a week, nothing was delivered so I called again. Was told it would ship in 2 days. Once again, didn't receive anything. I called and was told I'd be called back. I was never called back. I gave up today and sent them an email to cancel the order and told the CC company about this and entered a dispute.
I don't care it it's cheaper, if the service and responsiveness is this bad now, what about when the unit quits and it needs service ? And based upon what others have said out sensors dropping out, I can imagine the lifespan of these units is going to be very short

Do you guys have a black cloud hanging over your heads I called Saftee Corp on a technical question and was asked to leave my name and number and they would call back. It took a couple of hours but I got the call back and the answers I needed.

I just talked to SAF-TTE by phone and was told ABSOLUTELY The new monitors will be in tomorrow (I hope) And they will ship them out right away. So with any luck things should start getting better by the end of the week.

Another bad sensor to report. It's reading about 15 psi higher than actual, even when removed from the tire. How are the new monitors different than the ones currently shipping?

Fought the battle couple of days ago and removed the outside duals as the tire company had mounted the inside duals with little stub valve stems that I couldn't even get to to check the pressure. Installed some good quality flex extensions that clamp to the outside dual wheel where they can be reached and then installed the last sensors. Whew! what a job.

They had also used a heavy duty impact tool to mount them and it was all I could do to break them loose. In fact, I had to have a friend help with one stubborn one.

Drove into town to fuel up for a trip and noticed that one set of duals was running ten degrees hotter that the other. Finally figured out that its because the exhaust is mounted right in front of them. Heat from the exhaust warms them some I guess.

Everything seems to be working perfectly.

Just got off the phone with Todd, he put me on hold and checked for my order and gave me a UPS tracking # for shipment today. Of course so far that # doesn't show but a lot of times it won't show up until that night on the web site.
So for now, I will just keep trying to track the # until it shows up.
