Did things just get better or worse?

At this juncture, I am not sure what we do with this thread...Since the vendor's storefront. www.truckerspartstore.com seems to have gone away replaced by http://www.rollrightnow.com/ And the product appears to have been re branded.

I don't think the product has been the issue.. Although we do not have a lot of feedback on its performance and none on its long term reliability.

What we have had reported was order fulfillment problems, communication issues, and a quagmire relative to refunds. A person claiming to be the manufacturer indicating communication problems and settlement issues.

Now there is a different name, different website, but I am not too sure how different... The contact name and telephone Number is the same for both this new web site and and the old one. This new web site was created on 25 July 2008 and updated Aug 3 2008.

This new outlet which claims to be now selling the previously branded SAF-TTE Tire Pressure monitoring is now referring to the TPMS as the Roll Rights Tire Pressure/ Tire Temperature Monitoring Systems.

The questions I have:

Is there anyone who has paid for but not received either a refund or the Saf-TTE TPMS aka Roll Rights Tire Pressure/ Tire Temperature Monitoring System?

For those that have the Saf=TTE TPMS any notion on how you would get warranty coverage?

Has anyone contacted the apparent manufacturer Gobiz ?

Or the exporter Gobiz Exporter ?

I had contact with Aileen Li from Gobiz the manufacturer. She told me that since they were unable to contact Saf-tte They were sending a manager to the USA to try to speak in person with Saf-tte. That they have not paid them $50,000. The name change would help them get around the credit card service providers.

One other thing did you see the Circle of Trust Rv link at the bottom of Roll Right Now.....got to be kidding me.

Well sort of--- I ordered and they never shippped or responded to emails or returned calls, but did charge my AMEX card on the day of order . I contacted AMEX and disputed the charge. AMEX says it will be 6-8 weeks . I have no doubt I'll be free of the charge , just will take some time

-- 12:19 : Just checked my online AMEX balance and I was credited the $555 so I'm whole again ---

I'm in the same boat with Joe. I have a dispute with bank of America and they are going to pursue the matter. I won't be out of money says BOA.

On 10 July 08 I ordered the SAF TTE Tire monitoring system. At the time I was not fully aware of all the problems conected with the delevery of this product. My decision to buy the system was based mostly on the sale price of the system. My credit card was charged for $371 on 18 July to SAF TTE LLC, Rockey Ford Company. On 24 July I sent an email to the customer service truckers Part Store asking for a status of my order. I receivced an answer on 28 July informing me about a mix up between UPS and DSL and a problem concerning a release from customs, however the problems have solved and my shipment will be sent out within a few days. BUT, now with the company name change and after reading the posts on this thread I wonder if I will ever see my order or recover my money if the order is not filled. Have attempted to call the number listed on the web site but get only busy signals, so I have a feeling that is not a good sign.

I ordered the TMPS on June 4, order #1620, and still have not received the product. I also ordered the electrical and mounting units on June 11, order #1674.

I have been calling Saf-TTE on a regular basis. The last couple of days the mail box is full.

I sent them an email on Sunday and have not had a response. I intend to call VISA and see if they can give me a credit.

Any thoughts or recommendations?

I just talked to DJ at the same #. He stated that warranty parts are being handled by them for now but in the coming weeks all parts orders and replacements will be honored by and go through the new company.

I had ordered a replacement 12 volt cord last week and he stated it would be shipped out today. (I hope)

I ordered mine on 7/21/08, and they charged my credit card on the 23ed. On Friday I emailed them and asked for a status of shipping and they emailed back today (7/28) stating that they would ship this week or next.
I have called for the last two days (8-4&5) and they said they would call me back. I have not received a call back from them yet.
Order number 1823

Ordered on 7/4/2008. Charged to card on 7/5. As of 7/30 status showed as processing. E-mailed on 7/30 regarding expected ship date and as yet have received no reply. I'm giving them one more week then filing a dispute with the cc company.

I figured with the good reviews from those that actually received their system and the (at that time) orders being processed more quickly it was worth a shot. I wouldn't have even considered it without the "safety net" of ordering with a credit card.
