Don I have dropped (not an error but just blank) readings from time to time but they always return so far. On the toad with rubber valve stems I have had two to loosen some and let the pressure drop until the alarm sounded. On the MH they have been rock steady for about 3 months and they are all behind wheel covers so I have not checked them physically.

While I do not like dropped readings from time to time it is better than getting checked every 6 months or so like before. With the brake fire thread that was running I am glad I got one with the tire temperture sensors as well.

Is anyone getting replies from the company? Maybe we can support each other in the mean time the best we can.

I received some emails from Todd a few weeks ago, even a promise to send me the replacement sensors. Didn't happen, and more then likely won't. He sent me a draft ltr that he said was going out to all us customers, doubt that too. As far as expecting anything out of SAF-TTE/Rollrightnow I don't beleive it will ever come about. BTW, they are not a member of the BBB. From here on out I believe we are on our own. Too bad, the system is pretty good.

SGTJOE that is sad because it was the price point of SAF-TTE that got my attenion in the first place. Since I do not plan to tow the Blazer due to my hitch limits I think I will pull the sensors off so save the batteries so that will give me 4 spare sensors for the MH and hopefully the computer/display will last for 2-3 years and I will be happy. If not Todd then someone else will import the system.

So far all of the sensors are working fine, but I do get drop-outs from time to time. My working theory at the moment is it depends on where the sensor is in the rotation of the tire when stopping. If the sensor is closest to the receiver, the wheel and cover are between the receiver and the sensor. I have taken to trying to look at the wheels when stopping to see if there is any correlation, but more data will have to wait until the next trip. Anyway, might make an interesting project.

So, so far the system hasn't reported any problems or given any problems. I used it on our return trip from South Dakota to Washington in July.

I have received an email from Aileen at gobiz.com.hk that said they have a new reseller in the U.S. and that he will be contacting me in a few weeks about sending replacement sensors. Hopefully this will give us a parts outlet for replacements. Will have to find out if they will honor the warranty or not. I will try to keep you all posted if there is any other updates.
At least it sounds like gobiz is trying to keep up.

I received my system in early Feb., and still have not installed any wheel sensors. The aluminum wheels on my MH have long, narrow slots instead of round holes, where the valve stems are. I have not been able to locate any suitable valve stem extensions for the front wheels, and the rear wheels have the stems turned inward. I guess I will have to have the tirs un-mounted, and the stems turned around to face out, in order to use the sensors. I probaby won't bother doing that though. If I went to all that trouble, I'd just as soon buy a system with inside-the-wheel sensors, and eliminate the potential problems with external sensors.

Not sure what I'm going to do, so my system sits in the box it came in. Anyone have a line on a variety of good quality valve extensions? I've tried truck stops, Walmart & C.W. already.

Bill, I too, have your style (name eludes me, Accutru?). Anyway, I went to NAPA, and got 1 1/4" metal extentions for the front wheels, and just loosened the lock nut on the rears, and turned the stem to the position I wanted it. I also did this on the Alcoas I had on the last coach. Hope this helps, Robbie

I inquired about becoming a dealer here in the US and gobiz told me they already had a reseller in the states. I guess they only allow one. The reseller they have listed wasn't trucker parts store.

Funny you mention this as I just got an e-mail today about this from them.I asked them a while back ,maybe a month ago about selling these things because safe-Tee was having such problems taking care of their customers.Well they wrote me back a day later and said that safe-tee had the rights to sell and no one else could.
So I just dismissed the whole issue.Today here comes an e-mail asking me about my interest in becoming a distributor lol!Asking me about my company etc etc.I am still very leary about this proposition because I really don't know the whole story. Was it a supplier issue?Or was it the distributor or both? I am really unsure if I want to send these people a huge sum of money for a product I am unsure about.Oh btw they clearly stated that Safe-Tee was out!
