We just found Pie and loaf baking pans that are made of light weight rubber. We are going to try them out to see how well they work. They are made by Kitchen Aid and sell for about $16.00. We purchased 2 to try out at the Christmas Tree Shop on Cape Cod for $4.99. I hope they are good. If so, would love to use them in the RV. Light weight and no noise when on the road. Has anyone used these in the past? It says on the label that they are nonstick, I hope they clean easily!

See you on the road!

DW has some of them that she uses from time to time and they seem to be "as advertised". She's got a bread pan and some muffin pans and maybe a few other pieces.

DW has a bunch of them including muffin and cup cake "tins" made of the material. She has replaced just about all of our baking ware with it. Yes she loves to bake when we go camping. I will say that after I unloaded all the pans and tins and put them in a box.....the new ones safe a lot of weight.

Silicon pans.. I've been using them for a while.. Some of them benefit from a traditional pan and use the silicon as a liner.

However I've been very pleased, Clean up is a snap (Nothing sticks to them or so it seems) it is easy to remove a loaf from a loaf pan (Just peal it down) they work well, and transmit heat well, Plus you can wad them up and stuff 'em in a small container for storage.. Very nice stuff

Are you that close to the CCC that you need to substitute rubber pans to be under your CCC?

I had a silicone muffin pan and loaf pan. I thought they added an odd flavor to the foods. I gave them away.

I wondered that too!!
If I was that close on CCC I'd be looking at a different rig.
