Looking for a family friendly CG near Shipshewana,IN. Going to be traveling June 2008. If anyone could give me any ideas would be great. I went on rv park reviews and found some not so good ratings for the one I thought would be nice--Twin mills in Howe. Traveling with my 11yr old daughter and would like CG w/ some ammenities.
Thanks in advance.

We've stay at the camp gorunds both north (has Rec. Room) and south of the town(owner by the same people). They don't have alot to offer but the sound of horse hoofs all night long. The only one in the are with all the ammenities is the Middlebury KOA, Eby's Pines over in Bristol.

Fremont Yogi Bear is about 40 minutes away, great park for kids! It is one of our favorite parks that we visit every year.

Twin Mills is a family friendly campgound with good amenities for the kids. We go there every year and have for years. I'm not sure what the negatives you read are all about. Never had a complaint.
