Hey, thanks for all the replies. It made the decision so much easier. I think we will try it - I know our son should love it. I will post comments about the Branson Stampede when we get back. Thanks again!

We went to the one in Branson a couple of years ago and thoroughly enjoyed it. It was amazing how one server could keep so many people in our row with plenty to drink and take care of the little things as well. I hope you like to eat with your fingers as there are no forks, etc.

Try to go to the early show if it's available and you will have less traffic and parking problems.

We've been to the one in Myrtle Beach and loved it. Keep in mind that this place is rated G and maybe a little PG thrown in there. There was no alcohol, which doesn't make a difference to me. The pre show comedy act was a riot.

Why am I always putting my 2 cents in when it's only a penny for your thoughts?

We've been to the one in Branson and Pigeon Forge. Both were enjoyable, and we would go back. The food is pretty good, especially at Pigeon Forge. Would love to see the Christmas show, have heard it is really good.

Wife and I went to the one in Branson last year. We would go back again. Pre show was a hoot and the regular show as well. The food was good and it is finger food because you really don't get any silver ware. Enjoy, John

Went to the one in Pigeon Forge several times. No horse poop smell but do sit back a couple of rows because the horses may throw saw dust in you plate. Food was good especially the soup.

We have been to the Dixie Stampede in Branson several times, for both the regular show and the Christmas show and our son loves it. They are adding even more to it this year with "Journey West" which will feature a longhorn steer stampede.
Get there early and enjoy the show.

I have been to the show in Branson twice. Last year was great. As stated above get there early to enjoy the pre-show. There are several other good shows on the Branson strip as well if you decide to pass on the Dixie Stampede. Good luck!
