I like to use the freeze dried air as it's a lot handier to carry when weight matters. All you have to do is add air to reconstitute for use. We store it right next to the freeze dried water container.

Prev-H3-45, the problem you encountered near Tulsa was related to driving through OK with CA air in your tires. You were extremely lucky to have crossed a few state lines without losing all your air. Always change air when crossing state lines, in fact, it would be safer for all drivers to be sure to change air at county lines instead of waiting to cross state lines.

It has been posted before that one should change air when crossing state lines.
I know it has because I posted it.

The last time I changed the air in my tires, I removed the valve stem and slipped a Viagra in each tire. Now my tires will aways stay up!!! Stiff sidewalls forever!!! So now, when I'm ready to go camping, my tires will be ready too.

I take it you missed the day in grade school when they covered the differences between weather and climate!
No Adam, that was one of the classes I did not miss but until the climatologists settle on a date, my back doesn't play the semantics game when I have to shovel the precipitation OFF of my driveway or campsite in October (2006), November (Thanksgiving 2003), March (in like a lamb...) and April (Easter 2007 trip).

Went to the local mechanic today and they offered free air rotation. They did however, sell me a new air cleaner, an oil change and an air freshener...

You can't be venting any CA or "out of state" air in Texas. It has to be disposed of in an environmentally friendly way.

Some one mentioned using "synthetic air" but the environmental impact study on the effect to the ozone layer will not be out for another 5 to 10 years. Too long to wait to go camping.

Air in my tires have been rotated and are ready to go. Planning on hooking up the diesel and burning some carbon credits over Easter weekend.

when you rotate your old air out don't forget you have to pay federal tax to have it environmentally disposed of properly. All proceeds will go to fund other environmentally new laws to come.
