I almost bid on a 2007 Honda EU3000is for $1200. It's a local pickup deal only (here in CT.) but I just got a bad feeling so I didn't bid. I would have won because nobody else bid. The guy relisted it. He said he bought it new (and it has the wheel kit) and just used it to power a race trailer on Saturdays. When asked how many hours might be on it, he couldn't really say so he guessed 80. I have a feeling it has more than 80 hours on it. I might have bid if he cleaned it up before taking the pics. That kinda tells me he didn't really take care of it. I don't know....maybe I'm just really paranoid. Maybe I'll just get the EU6500is for the house and if/when I get a 5er, I'll get a 3000is. Since we're on the generator subject......does anyone have any opinions / experiences with the Robin Subaru generators?

Hi All.

Well Done. What more could you really say, as you bought one of the best Quite type Generators on the Market today. Now if you could only find a mate to it, then you will really be jumping up and down for joy. Having a pair of Twin Honda EU2000is is a really great thing. Keep watching for that second one, you will thank yourself many times over if you find that second one,and a Paralla Kit Also. Good Luck. Happy Camping, Dan & Jill

Two years ago I sold my beat up Honda 2000 that had a lot of use and at least five years old for $825 + shipping. I had bought it used. Easy transaction with good feedback. Bought my brand new Kipor 2600 for $815 shipped. Good trade IMO.

Just two months ago, I purchased a new Honda EU2000i from Wise Equipment Sales for $879.99 with no tax and free shipping. Had it in about 5 days from order. It starts easily, is very quiet, and runs everything on my trailer except the air conditioner.

I would say you got a very good deal on that used one.
