Gulf Stream posts its Kodiak chassis at 19500 GVWR and the International chassis at 25900 on their website. 22000 GVWR is about the max I have seen on a Kodiak 5500 chassis. I have not seen a listing for the GCWR for the Kodiak but it is 33000 on the International.

IIRC, a Kodiak chassis with GVWR = 19,500 has GCWR = 26,000.

When Kodiak GVWR is 19,500, its GCWR is 26,000.

Hmmmm....I'm wondering if I have enough wiggle room to pull a Titan crew cab 4-down with 2 four-wheelers in the back.

That might be pushing it. I sure would hate to have to buy a new smaller truck.

I for one would check the quality of the two units. Before I got my class A, I owned the first year Endura that came out.......after 6 months it was gone! I know everyone does not have issues with Gulfstream but I sure did. Slide didn't work and had to have it fixed 3 times, rust on the underside was terrible, trim inside fell off on the first trip, leak in the roof vent in the bathroom, leak in the back slide....and the list went on and on. Thank goodness the dealer didn't kill me (too bad) with the trade in to my first diesel class A.

Do a search on Gulfstream and talk to alot of owners and former owners.
