On I-75 south of Atlanta is Amy's Campground with big pull throughs. It's at Tifton,Ga. one mile west on right. It's a GS (Good Sam).

The biggest problem you'll have is in finding campgrounds that are open. Most close until April or May. Two that I believe are open all year are in Kentucky - Oak Creek in Walton, and Kentucky Horse Park, in Lexington (the nicer one). There are a couple of KOA's in Ohio that may open in March, but not sure. You may have to do a Walmart or a rest area if you can't make it all the way to Kentucky.

There is a KOA in Lima Ohio that opens mid Feb to catch all the returning Snowbirds. We have stayed there. Owners are really nice people although sites are the usual KOA tight. We also stay at the Cincinatti South campground in Crittenden Kentucky and further down at KOA in Forsythe Georgia a bit south of Atlanta.

We just got back from FW two weeks ago. I am from Michigan just south of Flint. We left early and drove to Chattanooga TN. Stayed at Holiday TRAV-L-PARK, 1/2 mile off of 75. Pull thrus and clean bathrooms. Left early and arrived at FW in the early evening. On the way home found a place just north of Atlanta. There are lots of campgrounds open in GA, KY, TN so finding a place should not be a issue. Ohio may be a problem . Most of the exit signs had campground information. Also look at Woodalls web site they have lots of information on campgrounds along the way. Enjoy your trip. .

We typically use KOA in Corbin, KY. They have pull through's (call before arrival usually guarantee's favorable site) The lots are gravel and slightly hilly and very nice owners. Good exit as well. Love's Gas good for rv's and Sonny's for good BBQ.

Do you have one of the current Wal*Mart Atlas road maps? They have all the exit numbers for all the stores that are within 2 miles of the interstate. There are lots of WMT`s along I-75,if you could give me an area that you are staying each night I might be able to help.I am a truck driver for Wal*Mart.

For the last decade, or so, the I 75 from south of Macon to the Georgia State line has been under construction... How was the traffic and construction recently? We're heading that way the first week of April...
