Have been looking on the web at Memory Foam Mattress' and have honed in on a company called "Healthy Foundations" out of Boulder, CO. Has anyone had any experience with this company? The Boulder BBB doesn't seem to have any problems with them.

Thanks

I can tell you that after using our memory foam pad a week we returned it to Costco. Hated it. It was cold and always scooting off the bottom of the bed.

dhamblet, thanks for the response, but what I want to know is,if anyone has had any dealings, good or bad with that company. I am going to purchase a full blown mattress, not a pad. We have a pad here at the house on our guest bed and it does move a little each night. We do find it more comfortable than the original mattress by itself, so we put up with the movement.

I swore by mine and still do to a point. It is still the most comfortable thing I've ever slept on. Unfortunately they do not always offer enough support which caused me problems with my back (L4 & L5)resulting me having to sleep in my recliner and several weeks of physical therapy. Now my left shoulder is killing me and through a series of weeding out and testing it appears I need to get rid of the thing. Now keep in mind I spent 33 years in the fire service and got beat up pretty good over the years, more so than the average Joe lol. I hate to get rid of it as it's so comfortable, but it is actually crippling me,. The doc and physical therapist explained why. While comfortable and your body melts into it practically for some it offers no or little support, like me. Yes I have the mattress, not a pad.

Here's what the BBB says about Healthy Foundations and I've never heard anything good or bad about them on here.

Based on BBB files, this company has a satisfactory record
BBB Definition:

satisfactory record - A business identified in our report as satisfactory has, based on BBB files, been in business for at least one year, and has voluntarily provided the BBB with all information requested about the business and its product or service. If any complaints have been received about the business, their number has not been considered by the BBB to be extreme, given the nature of the company's business and the volume of business transacted. Complaints are also generally typical of what might be expected for this type of business. A business stated to be satisfactory has not been the subject of any recent law enforcement actions concerning its dealings with the public. If the business has been contacted by the BBB about its advertising or selling claims, it has modified or substantiated its practices to the BBB's satisfaction. In addition, the BBB has a clear understanding of the company's business, and the business is not in an industry which has raised significant marketplace concerns.
with the BBB. A satisfactory record
BBB Definition:

The BBB processed a total of 0 complaints about this company in the last 36 months, our standard reporting period. .....

I haven't seen anything good or bad on them on here .

You should get the real one. The Swedish memory foam mattresses. There are a lot of "knock offs" out there. There is a place you can order the real ones on line. Their phone number is 1-888-811-5053. Have not ordered from them and we are still looking. Have not decided yet if we will get one or a regular mattress.

I've got a topper purchased from overstock.com. It doesn't move, isn't at all cold, and based on what it does for me is hands down the best single piece of furnishings I've ever owned. (Polar opposite of firedude. I need total cushioning and insulation, and this does it all for a whole lot less than the complete mattress.)

If you really feel you just have to spring for the whole mattress, check them out in theripoffreport. Many a BBB rating goes south there. (Learned the hard way with other products - be smarter than me!)

I have the topper and at times mind would move also but I have put a large piece of the stuff we all use in cabinets that keep things in place and it works on the topper also.

YES, I have dealt with HealthyFoundations and recommend them HIGHLY.
We bought a mattress, not a topper. I found it hard to believe all of the positive reviews on epinions and such were true, cynic that I am.
But we LOVE our mattress from them and we researched and checked out MANY (including the Swedish brand - $$$$$$$$!) before we bought. The whole buying/customer service/delivery aspect was indeed excellent. And they have a great warranty and return policy.
Buy and try without fear, Happy Dreams!!

oldmansknees, your post is what I am looking for, someone who has had experience with Healthy Foundations. Your experience is my "gut feeling" about them. In reading their web page, I note mention of the fact that their mattress is made in Europe. Who knows, maybe it is made by the same company who makes the "Swedish brand - $$$$$$$$". We looked at the IntelliBed product yesterday, and they wanted about $1900.00 more for their's than Healthy Foundations does. Since HF offers a 365 day money back guarantee, and a 20 year non-prorated warranty, I don't see how we could be hurt much and I could use the $1900.00 for something else - like diesel for a trip this summer.
