Yes Joe, it happens a lot. Much scarier when you've got a big window looking forward. Lightning usually strikes the nose of the plane and exits out of static eliminators on the wings & tail. Glad you made it through the flight!!

We were down in the Harrington Delaware area all day Saturday, Took a ride thru Killens and Trap Pond State Parks, made alot of notes on the sites we can fit into for the future. There were quite a few campers there this past weekend..

Mike - Are y'all going to join us at Killens? Would be good to see y'all again, and it IS close to home! LOL!
We're getting the final packing done for GB, so we can head out later this morning.
By next month, I'm sure we'll be ready to roll again. This gathering should be fun, since it's a smaller group

We head to Lums Pond memorial day weekend, Seashore State Park
June 6th weekend, then back to Seashore State Park June 28 - July 6.
