Do I really need a base plate? Or, is there a way to attach the tow bar without one.Thanks

There is always a way to do about anything. If you are smart you will get a base plate to match your tow bar.

Base plates are necessary because today's cars do not have a traditional frame or other structural attach point.

What are WE TOWING???????? I'm not using base plate on my JEEP.
