Hey Folks,
Probably a real foolish question, I removed the battery from our 06 Travel Trailer for the winter. Just went to go put it back in and now scratching my head. Black and White cables. Normally black is negative but I believe it can also be positive and white can be negative. How can I be sure?

Thanks in advance....

BLACK is the positive, WHITE is Negative, like household wiring.
Your positive cable should have a inline fuse in it, that would be another way to tell.
FYI- I was confused at first also, so I wrote Black next to positive teminal on battery so I would remember.

Happy to be the wondering wanderer,
...As long as there sand in my toes.

Positive has the fuse/circuit breaker. Negative goes to the frame.

If you would have hooked it up backwards it would have run your lights backwards, fans in reverse, your microwave in reverse and un-cook your food... It would be chaos putting your slides in and out... LOL, just kidding...

Yes Black is + (positive) white is - (ground)...

May be to hard to see...

Rob

If you are ever unsure, you can purchase a cheep voltmeter. Plug your RV in and test the output for polarity. Good luck!
