Hello to everyone, My DW and I presently own a TT but want to upgrade to a 5er. We have been researching different brands and find that we like the Keystone Laredo and the cougar both with rear kitchens the best. My question is: are these reliable campers. I personally don't know anything about Fifth Wheels but they seem to be pretty well built and the price seems within our budget. Any Info would be greatly appreciated. Thanks in advance, Tim

I have had 2 Keystone Cougars and not had any problems to speak of. They are entry level units that meet our needs and good deal IMO.

Hello. We have the 32bs front bunk unit with full bedroom in rear. We are going on our third year. it is an 06 ordered new from the dealer. Had very few items needing attention once we took delivery. Its a good medium profile unit with awesome interior asthetics. Its a keeper!!!!

I think the Cougar is a "mid-level" product. Our Springdale, also a Keystone product is listed as an entry-level 5th wheel. It has been a very good rig performing flawlessly. The Springdale fit both our camping needs and our budget! I would not hesitate to purchase another Keystone product.
Best of luck!

We have a rear kitchen, DW loves the rear kitchen. We purchased it new 3 years ago. At the same time, our friends purchased a bunkhouse model Cougar. Neither one of us have had any problems. Just some minor little things that the dealer took care of. Nothing I wouldn't expect from any brand.

We had a Keystone Montana, that we bought new, and had no problems with it. We would recommend them.
Also had a Keystone Cougar before the Montana and it was trouble free too.

We have had our 2007 Cougar 290RKS for just over a year, traveled 10,000 miles and love our trailer.
We did replace all 5 wheels and upgraded to E rated tires ( Keystone gave us a tire credit $450.00) because they were having issues with the cheap tires.
We also had one brake seize( called a mobile repair, kept the parts and receipt ) all fully refunded by Keystone.
We are very happy with our unit and are preparing for a trip to Alaska in the very near future.
Choose your dealer carefully, the dealer can make all the difference.
Do a thorough inspection before signing the final papers ( ours was 5 hours with dealer rep right with us all the way).
I hope that this helps. If you have any questions feel free to pm me.
