When the gas station robber points a gun at the clerk and says, "don't be funny lady, forget the money, fill my gas can."

After being totaled in an accident, the insurance adjuster needs to know how much fuel was in your tank before he can determine the value of your claim.

On Friday evening, you and your buddies are sitting around at the bar trying to outdo each other with exagerated tales of gas mileage.

When planning your trip, you select your route based on how many WalMarts are on each leg of the trip instead of miles traveled, time of day or places of interest other than a WalMart. You know WalMart would really do a bang up business if they added a larger RV section in the auto parts area and had better restaurants on the premises.

Tank and a half from Trenton, NJ to Wilson, NC in a 70 Dodge Daytona with a 440 magnum, costing a whopping $8.75 one way.
