Hey it looks okay. If you like it I like it.

Also, if you were next to me and had them on I would not be offended.

My first thought when I saw your pictures in your post was "you got a Fast and Furious trailer"!

How did you weather proof the lights and wiring?

A 20" Celestron??!! I though just carrying my 6" reflector was too much. So I went to 100X25 binoculars instead.

Neat, certainly not as much light as the neighbor that you can see on the other side of your unit.

That sure would catch an eye going down the road at night with them on. Now, if you add the things to make it jump up and down.

Those are our best friends so we didn't mind it and it was just at dusk, they turn their lights off too. We get to LED his unit out next trip!!

Here is what that side looks like.

the lights are water proof in housings. They come with brackets that you can adjust and mount. I made a slight modification to them so I could use one 1/4 bolt with a wing nut so they are easy to adjust in the event that they could be in the view of another camper.

The hot wire is zip tied to the gas line that runs down the frame. The lights are protected from weather and water up on the frame covered by the aluminum sides of the 5er.

I'll try and get some other photos of the install and remote box.

New to the site. What' the trick to post photo's on the site? It's asking for a complete URL address. Do you have to first post your photo to an internet site like shuttefly and then provide the URL to the photo? Thanks in advance,

Paul

Welcome.

I use photobucket myself. It allows you to simply cut and paste the message board specific tags for the photos you want to post.

Key point, resize the photos to "message board" so they don't fill the screens.
