Plan to be in Branson the end of May. Will stay 3 nights to do shows, etc. Wife has been there before has decided what we should see, but we need to get a recommended park for our Class A.

If you are doing shows you might want stay outside of Branson and south. Cooper Creek and the Table Rock State Park would meet this criteria. With a good map you can find roads that will avoid a lot of the traffic.

ABC Campground --- just above the RED route and a great location to jump off to the shows. We have stayed there everytime we've been to Branson and have found the place to be clean, the staff to be friendly and helpful and the prices to be reasonable.

They also have free WIFI, some cable channels. And if you need to wash your rig they have a pay RV wash on site.

Strongly recommended. http://www.abc-branson.com/

One of the reasons why we like this park when we're going to the shows is it's location. Like I said it is north of the red route which gives you a great jump off point to go to the shows on the main strip.

Always fun, never disappointed!!

We stayed a week at ABC Campground and liked the place. It is close in to town, friendly, full service...wifi & pool. There is a shuttle going into town that picks up in the park. Our spot was fairly level, however I did see spots that were way off level, and rigs had their front ends off the ground. Suggest you ask for a level spot when making reservations. Have fun. If you have time head north about 30 minutes to Springfield. Worth the trip for Fantastic Caverns, the Nature Museum next to ProBass, and Lamperts Restaurant.

I would recommend the KOA located on Safari Road off of 165 south. They sell show tickets on site and may possibly have a shuttle to take you and drop you off at the show (check on this). They are in a good location in the southwest part of Branson just off 165 about 4 blocks south of the strip.

We will be in Cooper Creek over Memorial weekend. Never been to this one before but will post after we get home. We did tour Tablerock and it was beautiful but when we were making reservations, they were already booked. We were in Compton's last year and it was ok, sites needed some work. Hope you have fun!
