I have venetian Blinds instead of day night shades, which I like. The problem is you can't raise the factory blinds, to wash the windows or have a clear view. Sooooo I bought blinds from Lowes to replace them.
Removing the first one I discovered that they raise up just like day night shades..Duhhhhhhhhh.....I returned all but one I had cut to length. Rving for 20 years and still don't know it all..maybe in 20 more.

Don't be too hard on yourself. During our pre delivery walk through I became wild with anger and almost killed the deal because the day/night shades weren't in the unit. It was then that the technician politely pointed out that they were indeed installed up behind the widow dressing...! I thought my DW was going to crawl under the trailer...
