I have had a new Putnam XDR on order from www.performancecenter.com for over a week now and they just notified me that it would be another 3 weeks because the manufacture is out of inventory... I talked to Putnam also and they said they got a ton of good - free press from RV.NET and sales are booming on this receiver hitch...
Sooo, guess I will have to cool my jets, sit back and wait...
I get my new Equal-i-zer distribution hitch installed this Saturday from my dealer. Guess they can set it up for the stock GM hitch and I will adjust it when the Putnam comes...

I wonder if other Putnam supply outlets are out of the same model receiver? But like you said, the OEM will get you by until you receive the Putnam, and you did get a great price on the Putnam.
Hope Putnam is throwing some advertising dollars toward RV.NET in support of some server upgrades

Go to sportztrailers.net and search Putnam XDR. Every hitch they sell is currently listed as "In Stock". They offer fabulous service. I got mine in two days via UPS from Phoenix, AZ. Good Luck!

If you can't fix it with a hammer, you've got an electrical problem!
I bought mine at southwest wheel in dallas tx. They were out at the time and had to get it shipped from the factory. It arrived in 4 days. Try www.southwestwheel.com they may have it in stock. As for the GM to XDR adjustments, the XDR is about 2" higher at the reciever than the stock GM hitch.
Just received notification that my Putnam XDR was shipped, should be here on Monday. Leaving Wednesday for the first trip of the season. Dilemma now is do I try to install it prior to leaving or wait until I return.
