Has anyone had dental work done, like root canal, caps or bridges done in Mexico lately? Was looking in and around Progresso, in S. Texas. Just wanted a price so as to compare to US prices, 800+for root canal, 900+ for caps or bridge work per tooth? Might want to make a fast trip to RGV.....

We had work done in Los Algodones, SW of Yuma and paid $180 US$ for a crown and $25 for cleaning.

Check out the dentist button at this location. http:// www.shop-progreso.com. Few mention prices, but the price mentioned by jimlouisesophie is certainly quite possible.

I had a cap done for $175.00 a few years back. A friend and his wife each had five done last year at $175.00 each. All of these were at the Office of Dr.
Recardo Carreon.
