We will be at the factory of two days in the last half of April. Perhaps I'll get a chance to view this unit.
I have to say that it is much too large for my tastes. If I wanted something this heavy I'd have stayed with my Ambassador PLQ which had a much better interior layout and was perfect for our needs (before we bought a park model) and had the same engine and a transmission with a 5 yr warranty. I just hope Jayco makes and effort to ensure high quality. Also, I hope it doesn't come and go as quickly as their attempt at producing a Class A a few years back.
I'd like to see something around 32 ft (like our Greyhawk) that doesn't push one into the B (in US) and D (in Ontario) license category.
In Ontario the limit is 11,000 KG (24,200 lbs) and it INCLUDES whatever you are towing.

I can almost bet that it wont be anything like Jayco's Class A business...it was supposed to come out in Jan. and it still isnt here...theres a reason for that...they want to get it right

We...my wife & I are also interested to know more about the Embark. Planning to go Full Time in late summer and we have been analyzing Super Cs for about a year and a half. Last summer we went to Indiana to tour the Dynamax plant in Elkhart, then went to Nappanee to go through Gulf Stream's Class C plant to see the SuperNova. At Dynamax they turn out (1)unit a day and there production area was very clean and organized looking. At Gulf Stream they turn out (7) to (8) units(of all class c's) a day and there production area was organized chaos.
With that said and after all we have seen & heard about all the coaches we have looked at, Pony Xpress, Hallmark, Bigfoot and others we felt the SuperNova was the best valu over all, and we pretty much had decided on the 34ft. Model 6331....Untill someone on this post (THANK YOU) announced that Jayco was planning to come out with a new Super C on a class 6 or 7 chassis. STOP THE PRESSES...COOL YOUR JETS...& HOLD THE PHONE ! ! ! We always though good about the Seneca but (like other coaches) we thought the chassis was to light.
A lot more has to be learned about the Embark before we shell out our hard earned, like how much, other sizes/lengths and the list goes on. Our dealer is arranging for us to visit the plant in Middlebury, IN at the end of next week "IF ANYBODY INTERESTED" just give us a shout. We will post what we learned...& what we didn't

Interior pictures would be great, and if you can get any info on other floor plans that would be great.

Change of plans...A little work is being done on the EMBARK in preparation for a dealer meeting next week, so we are going to Indiana at the end of month. We think after this meeting the dealers will have a lot more info to share but still feel the need for a road trip to see for ourselves.
Until we know more,

Well I called Jayco today and talked to the west coast sales rep (I believe) and he cleared up a few things for me, much to my dismay.
1. The brochures for the Embark will not be ready before the production models are ready.
2. They only have the one floor plan as of now, they might have another soon.
3. From the way he was speaking about the Embark it sounds like it will be competing with the $200K + class of Super C’s.
4. I asked if Jayco was perhaps going to have a bunk model like the 36FS and he stated that on the higher end RV’s there is less demand for Bunk models and did not expect one, but he would pass my request along.
So it sounds like the Embark is going to be a great Class C, but it will be catering to older crowd of people that perhaps do not need the room and beds for kids. I wish they really would make a bunk house model, but it doesn’t seem like it’s meant to be. Hopefully they dont forget that people with kids can afford nice RV's as well and there is a market for those of us that need a Super C that can tow a lot of weight and can easily sleep quite a few people.
