After having a fellow RVer have kids pull their valve open as a prank, I have what CloudDriver and BLF13 have but I added one more thing. I use the cap with the 3/4 inch hose outlet and put a garden hose shut-off valve on that. Now before removing the cap, I just open the shut-off valve to see if anything comes out. This way I don't have any big surprises and instead will know if I have an open or leaky slide valve. It's well worth the small investment and easy to do.
