Heck No!

They are only going to hurt the general public. The price of fuel will not change, but the price of general goods will!

Tthe only time I take my diesel poered pu out is to camp, this is because of fuel prices, Iuse to use it as my everyday drive not anymore.Friends of mine have a small burger restaurant, they had to raise their prices twice in the last 30 days due to the increase of fuel charges on deliveries. Besides, the bigger companies would love all independents truckers go out of business.

Hi Folks,

I have 4 diesel service trucks and this price game that the oil company's are playing is starting to hit my company bad. Our fuel spending has tripled and we have just passed the savings on to the customer in the past. But now, a fuel surcharge on our invoices of 8 to 10 dollars is getting out of hand.

Here is what should be done.
Find the biggest purchacer of Arab oil in the past 3 years and boycot that one company. Which happens to be Exxon/Mobile. That company will be forced to lower it's prices to win your busisness back and the rest will follow suite. This way everybody won't be too inconvienced. It's that simple! it's how busisnesses work...

I'm ready to set a date, I just have to find 10 million people to do the same..

Folks, are you sure it is Major oils fault or is it the fault of the speculators? Sure we can boycott big oil stations, but I see trucks from different refineries filling up Exxon/Mobil/Chevron stations. Here in South Texas I hear that alot of the fuel comes from Valero refineries? Please provide clarification.

Sorry folks. A strike is only going to make it worse for the consumer, not better. Boycotting an individual company is not going to make any difference either. They don't set the prices, Wall Street does. Its Wall Street who's playing us. Exxon/Mobile benefit of course. But boycotting them would probably only make matters worse. The single best thing we can all do is to slow down and drive less when possible. In other words, save gas. Gas surplusses are high right now, and thats the only thing keeping the price closer to $3 instead of $4. Diesel is high due to world wide demand right now, and that doesn't appear that its going to change any time soon.
