Friday morning we are heading to the nascar races in Martinsville. We have a reserved site there for the weekend. Anybody on here going?

JumboJet: that is very cool!!! We were there last fall. It was Super dooper hot. While it was a great experience, I don't know if I'll ever go back to Bristol for the fall race. WE decided to forgo our spring Talladega tickets in order to make this first time trip to Martinville.

We are also heading to Martinsville on Friday morning. Camping at the Blue Ridge Packaging Corp on Industrial Drive - $60 for the weekend. In after 3 pm on Friday and out around 5 am on Monday. Not taking the truck camper, fiver this time.

I'm jealous... I'd love to be going to Martinsville. Our first race this year is Poncono in June. Then New Hampshire, The Glen, then New Hampshire again. Possibly Pocono in August if a good friend can score comp tickets. Go 29... the GF would say go 99.

This post is kind of neat. I see ya'll do the regional races in your area's like we do. Being an hour from Atlanta of course we start our race travel season there in the spring. We have tickets for Darlington, 4.5 hours away. We have tickets for the fall race at Talladega, 3 hours away.
Going to the races is what got us into the truck camper in the first place. #88, #20
