I am thinking of replacing my sleeper sofa. I assume these are specially made as the sofa sits on the slide that is three inches higher than the rest of the floor. When opened up the legs must be longer to compensate correct? I have been unable to fined these sofa sleepers for sale.
They (Flexsteel) make special RV furniture for slides with notched front edges to compensate for the slide floor. You might have to call Bradd & Hall and ask about it.
Their EZ Bed is comfortable to sleep on too. Don't get a jack-knife bed. (Unless it's for a guest you don't like)
FMCA# F355513. 1997 Safari Continental, 40 foot, 1 slide. Cat 3126B, Allison MD3060. 2000 Durango SLT 4x4 toad with a Blue Ox Aventa II and stopped with a Brake Buddy. Seen on the Road Photo album
Check out Bradd & Hall. We changed our sofa, driver and passenger seats. Order just what we wanted, picked the material & color we wanted. They ordered it. When it came in we went back and they installed everything AND disposed of the old!! They were great.

A 'pic' might be helpful. You will find these sofas basically come apart in sections, sides, back etc. The cloth is generally 'stapled' on with foam padding underneath the cloth/vinyl etc and there will be 'hog-rings' around rods (either metal or fiberglass) holding the seats in their place. If you just don't like the color, you might consider taking it apart, and recovering it yourself. We did just that, and it came out real nice. You can get replacement rings and a tool for them at your local farm-supply or tractor-supply store.
