Sold my 40' class A last week and I went to look at a E3 today and discovered the dealer had just got a E4 in . Well since my other choice besides a E3 was a Niagira, why not get a combo of both! This trailer is big
. Inside and out. I need to get the loan finalized and then will pick it up next week. I also picked up a equlizer hitch and brake controller. Should be fun for the family this summer! Dealer wanted too much to put in A/C - but gave me a great deal on the trailer. A/C will be added later.
Thanks to this board for all the great reading and research materials!

Darren,
Congratulations. I'm sure that you are going to enjoy the E4. Given that you have moved from a Class A to a PUP you will get extra credit as a new owner in our forum.

Congratulations!

(From a new E3 owner!)

Show us some pics on the forum once you get it - I heard they aren't available in yellow for the E4 - is that true?

The class A was too large - way to plush - for "camping" it was nice for traveling. I wanted to get something I was not afraid to get dirty plus I can bring my ATV and my Cycle. How does the interior of the evolutions hold up to dirt/use? Looked like it would clean well (and it looked cool too!)

Congrats on the new PUP. Seems you could get some sort of credit for something else..since they say on the website that E4 can get this freebie.Heck, never hurts to ask/try! LOL.

Hope you have great camp-outs in the E-4.

HAPPY CAMPING!!

Personally, I would prepare to walk away from the deal and let the dealer "sweat it out" - even though you know you will eventually go back in a few days, HE doesn't!

Watch how fast he finds you a canopy, or adds the wording "E4 Awning & Screen Room, TO BE DELIVERED ONCE AVAILABLE" to the contract once you refuse to sign and walk out!

I'm a tough customer, admittedly, but it's on the manufacturer's website and it's MY money!

My guess is your dealer is going to get this from the manufacturer when it comes in and claim it with YOUR order, then sell it to someone else, just like my Ford dealer charged Ford warranty for replacing NEW all four rotors on my truck, then just cut the original rotors and reinstalled the same old brakes (caught 'em redhanded!)

Congrats on the E4, I am going tomorrow to look at mine and begin the paperwork.

I have had an E2 for almost a year, mountain biking and kayaking. The black shows dirt, but I wipe it down with diluted simple green and its just fine.

My dealer is giving me a $250 credit since the screen room is not available. I am using that for a set of cross bars on the roof for our kayaks.

Post a picture of your first trip.
