Full timing is a bad idea because many times I wake up and can't remember where we are today.

Full timing means that I have to listen to the DW 24-7. BUT with no Water/ Sewer/ Electric/ Cable/ House Taxes/ LAWN-SNOW-issues, that alone is worth $20,000 So we are fine.

Fulltiming is a bad idea because: We have trouble finding the grocery items we love to eat. New stores, means new products, such a dilemma!!

Fulltiming is bad because we have to deal with the unexpected. This morning I got up a 5 am to do my morning 3 miler and walked into a lake in the kitchen Threw down some towels, left a note for Terry and headed out. By the time I got back,he had pretty much torn the kitchen apart, made coffee and gotten most of the leak (s) traced.

It is in the icemaker portion of the fridge. Just another day in the life.....

Next will be...what? You just never know and you better be handy

BTW...great topic Barb

I've been wondering who to blame the high prices on, maybe I'm on to something...

No one ever said full timing was for everyone. But neither is skydiving, golfing or boating.

I am not full timing but I don't be little those who are....

Tallyo, it's a good thing you don't full time 'cause you need a sense of humor to be a fulltimer!

See I was successful.................If you follow most of what I say I like to stir the pot a wee bit.
I agree though there are a lot of folks in these forums who don't have any sense of humor.

It is so easy to get certain threads off track and then try and return them back to where they belong.

May be I just have too much time on my hands. I have been seeing a doctor and he does tell me I am making good improvements though.

I once saw a great sign in front of an RV--" My wife and I never argue because we don't have any room in here for disagreements.

Fulltiming is bad because I just can't get use to looking at a different sunset/sun rise every week. The complete sense of structure is broken.

Mai Tai's for Christmas on the RIO Grande, sunset over the wheat fields of Kansas, sun rise over the ridges of NY wine country, and sampling different local cuisine.
