Summerville Lake Retreat, Mountain Lake Resort or BattleRun campground all very nice and close to each other. If coming on down I77 Rockridge Resort and Pipestem State Park are picks there.

For resting on blacktop, the Wally World in Summersville, WV is RV friendly. Stop there often during the winter when the campgrounds are closed. There is also a wayside overlook on 19 before you get to Summersville. It's quiet, but you'll never get anywhere close to being level there. Be sure to obey speed limits on that road, especially in Summersville and Fayetteville. If it says 50 mph, you do 45.

Gotta agree with Tom N, the Stonewall Jackson camping area is fantastic. Deer all over the place. Right on the lake. 4 star restaurants. Golf.

Pipestem State Park, in WV is a very nice spot, but good for several days as there is a lot to do.

Pipestem SP is 13 miles off I-77 via some not so friendly RV roads. They do have a great golf course.
